Best watch I have ever owned,
The Aquaracer I own is just like this one, only with a blue face instead of black and without the “day of the week” indicator, and have never had a single technical issue with it during the 5+ years I have owned it, wearing it daily and only removing it when I sleep. It has endured some serious beatings, having been worn during scuba diving, mountain biking, car repair and a million other activities that saw the watch get hit or slammed or scratched or electrified (seriously). It now carries with it some cosmetic flaws, but only in the form of some small scratches on the metal areas of the face and body, but the bezel (sapphire) is still flawless. Continues to keep accurate time, although it does lose about 5 minutes over the course of about 2 months… which I consider to be acceptable for an analog watch without digital innards. I just reset the time when I have to reset the calendar, which works out just about right.
Prior to this watch, I would go through about 1 or 2 watches a year, with them falling victim to various misadventures. My uncle had a TAG for years, and I finally bit the bullet and bought one. I consider this watch to be one of the best purchases I ever made, and plan to wear it for many years to come. I would buy this watch again, for certain.
